At Unstrand, we believe in empowering small-scale energy producers to join the Bitcoin mining ecosystem. Through community donations, we help set up energy infrastructures, such as biogas-powered generators or solar power setups, to enable farmers and other energy producers to generate electricity for Bitcoin mining. Here’s how our donation system works:
All donations go directly toward supporting and establishing energy producers. Unstrand does not take any portion of these donations for its own benefit. Instead, the donations are used to fund the setup of energy systems, enabling producers to generate electricity from waste resources and become independent energy suppliers. For example:
Bio-gas Farmers: Donations may be used to purchase and set up gas engines that convert methane from manure or agricultural waste into electricity.
Other Producers: Funds could also support small-scale solar, wind, or hydroelectric setups for sustainable energy generation.
Ownership of Energy Systems
Once the infrastructure is set up, it belongs entirely to the producers. They gain a long-term, sustainable source of energy that can be used for Bitcoin mining or other electricity needs. By owning these energy assets, producers can continually generate income from both energy production and Bitcoin mining.
Donor Rewards: Unstrand Runes
While Unstrand does not directly benefit from these donations, they contribute to growing our ecosystem by empowering more producers to mine with us. To acknowledge the community’s contributions, we award donors with Unstrand runes. These serve as a form of appreciation and can be used within the Unstrand ecosystem in various ways.
